                                              Michelle Mulhaire

Michelle was born to music. Her grandfather, the great Tommy Mulhaire, renowned traditionalist whose compositions are known to this day by purveyors of Irish music everywhere, introduced and instilled a life-long love for music in Michelle from an early age. This was further enhanced by her dad Brendan, whose long career in the music business, particularlly during the showband era in Ireland expanded her tastes beyond the traditional genre. The result of which is the incredibly talented Michelles outstanding ability as a drummer, guitarist, pianist not to mention her talents as a singer - equally comfortable with a jazz melody as she is singing pop, rock and roll or Irish ballad

Michelle lives between the United States and Galway City. In the 90's she played drums and sang with Eamonn Murray. The Quays described  ‘Eamon’Michelle’ as ‘The Biggest Little Band in Ireland’. She also played keyboard with ‘Bandstand’, a seven piece big-band, was former lead guitarist with ‘Belladonna’, an all-girl rock band and is Musical Director for ‘The Mark Roberts Band’.

A third generation professional musician, she has worked and toured all over the world with Carmel Dempsey, one of Irelands leading entertainers. Michelle joined
thebridies in March 2004 for a sell out series of concerts in Las Vegas and due to the success of these Shows she became 'The Bridies' full time drummer and lead singer complimenting perfectly this dynamic all female ensemble. Michelles’ debut album Can I Call on You’, features a wide and varied selection of her amazing vocal abilities, drumming and guitar talents, and is available in the Hear Us Now Page Or from thebridies web page here ... (Click Link)   www.thebridies.com along with 4 and 9,,   which she co-produced in conjunction with Les Comacho (Fleetwood Mac), and '13' their most recent album.
She along with the other Bridies wrote, arranged and recorded
thebridies CD, '13' which they spent the first three months of 2005 composing in Las Vegas.

With the insight from working in the music business for over 23 years Michelle  takes pride in providing high quality entertainment and impeccable service and advice to her clients.
